goofy
	goofy noun An impromptu combat between two or more wizzes; being a BL term, the event is often to sharpen themselves up for the Goat Cup. They take themselves down to around 80k and start in the Tearoom, fighting without weapons, traps or quits but with magic allowed. Interaction with mortals is forbidden, but they're usually warned in advance what's going on. The term derives from "goofing around"; at one time there was a "Goofy Cup" spoof of the Goat Cup.
