PBS

  • noun Abbreviation for 'poor bloody superhero' (or '... superheroine'). Being big enough to be picked on, but not having the capacity to defend oneself. "These new weapons are neat, but they won't make much difference to PBSs". "The mage should have been able to handle him; it's the PBS I feel sorry for". The expression probably derives from the army term, 'poor bloody infantry'. See super, 2-level rule.
