post-processor

  • noun That part of the FE which prepares output for display to the user. A version is built in to MUD2's FE program, but customised ones can be written and combined with a pre-processor to give a client. Post-processors are normally restricted to word-wrapping, highlighting, logging, windowing and (possibly) graphics/sound handling.
