- noun A now rather antiquated term which refers to the language used by MUD players among themselves. In some areas, it's not as rich as it once was due to much of its being superseded by emotion commands (few people are going to type "<laugh>" as a message when there is a 'laugh' command, for example). However, it is still growing elsewhere, particularly with new abbreviations. It's certainly complex enough to warrant this rather substantial dictionary!
